Green Issues Communications was established in 1998.  Since then, the company has worked in the constantly evolving area of community consultation and political liaison.

Key to the approach of Green Issues is the unique methodology 'not just consultation for consultation's sake’, but ensuring it is effective for the developer and for the communities involved. After all, consultation can only be effective if communities feel it is on their terms and that they are being listened to where possible.

This methodology is underpinned in the book by Tom Curtin 'Managing Green Issues' published by Macmillan in 1999.

The company has grown rapidly in the last few years with employees bringing political skills, community consultation expertise and stakeholder liaison. Effective and appropriate community consultation is central to the ethos of Green Issues and the company is one of the top 60 public relations firms in the UK.
