Development Land Assessment

We save our clients money by helping them make informed judgements about land at the pre-purchase stage.

Our pre-purchase land assessment reports identify the full range of constraints, challenges and opportunities relating to land being considered for acquisition.  In the same way that an environmental impact survey can inform developers of the likelihood of a particular site progressing through the planning process, we can assess the likelihood of achieving a successful outcome from a political perspective.

Our reports are based on detailed research into the local authority and planning committee; current attitudes to development relating to the site and the wider area; past decisions of the planning committee; the political composition of the local authority and how this may change in any upcoming election; past positions and campaigns by councillors, the local MP and other individuals and organisations related to the site in question; analysis of local stakeholders and their priorities; local media and press cuttings analysis, etc.
