Green Issues Communications specialises in building relationships with stakeholders in order to achieve consensus and support for development projects.
Unchallenged, a relatively small number of opponents to a new development can achieve disproportionate influence and profile through their commitment, organisation and high motivation. It can appear as if they represent the views of the wider community, when this is not in fact the case. We help our clients counter this by identifying, motivating and mobilising local project supporters and advocates – many of whom may otherwise be latent or silent - and opening lines of communication between our clients and these groups and individuals.
By establishing effective engagement with stakeholders, we can identify any practical amendments to the project that can improve its value to the local community, give people a sense of involvement and participation in the decision-making process, generate support for the project, isolate opponents and enhance the corporate reputation of our clients.
