Marketing to Local Authorities

For many companies the world of local authority procurement can seem a daunting and complex challenge The Green Issues team has the skills and experience to assist companies that want to sell goods and services to local authorities. Many of our staff are current or former local councillors, so we have an informed understanding of the approach, strategy and tactics that are required to be successful in marketing to local government.

We can help by:

  • Identifying the procurement ‘routes map’ and the decision makers and influencers at each stage of the process
  • Arranging meetings for clients with relevant local authority personnel
  • Undertaking media relations activity to generate positive coverage in relevant national, regional, trade and local government media
