Transport Strategy and Impact
Transport Assessment
A Transport Assessment (TA) Report will form part of the planning submission.
This TA Report identifies the increase in journeys by different travel modes
(bus, tube, car, walk, cycle etc.) generated by the Scheme and carefully assesses the potential transport impacts of this increase. It also presents the Transport Strategy for the Scheme.
The content and assessment methods of the TA Report have been discussed with and agreed by both the Council’s highways department and Transport for
London (TfL). This report will meet best practice guidance.

Travel Plan
A Draft Travel Plan will form part of the planning submission. This will show how Scheme residents can be encouraged and supported to make sustainable travel choices.
The draft Travel Plan will include the following measures:
• A Travel Plan Co-ordinator to help implement the Travel Plan.
• An on-site car club with membership open to all local residents.
• Good quality, secure cycle parking for all Scheme residents and visitors.
• Safe, convenient walk links and pedestrian priority in the Scheme’s Home Zone.
• Scheme residents’ Welcome Packs with transport network and environmental/health awareness information and incentives.
• Scheme residents will be unable to apply for on-street parking permits for the local CPZ.
